Why did I name my blog "The North Slope?" I think of life as climbing mountains. There is always a mountain to climb. But once you get to the top, the view is fantastic, breath taking and more than you could imagine. You won't see many photos of me and that is because, my place is behind the camera, the one taking the photos and that is ok with me.
I am always climbing that mountain looking for that one photo that says, "Thats a winner folks."

I think this is a wakeup call for us living here in the USA that we can not become too complacent about homeland security.
